Install Printers on MacBooks

  1. In the dock, locate “Network Location.” It likely looks like a blue square with an “H” in it.
  2. Click “Add APS Mac Printers.”
  3. Under “Connect as:” select the “Registered User” radio button.
  4. In “Name,” delete whatever is there and type your MyAccess user name (firstname.lastname).
  5. In “Password,” type your MyAccess password.
  6. Do not check the box that says “Remember this password in my keychain.”
  7. Click “Connect.” The folder “APS Mac Printer Installers” will appear.
  8. Navigate to the “Heights” folder (not Shriver or Stratford) and expand it by clicking the gray arrow on the left.
  9. Locate the printer you wish to install and right-click it (or press control and click it).
  10. Click “Open” and then click “Ok” on the pop-up that appears.

No apparent action will happen while a printer is being installed. You can check to see if it has been installed by navigating to the “Printers and Scanners” pane in “System Preferences.”

Install Printers on a PC

  1. Open the Windows menu on the bottom left of the taskbar.
  2. Search and click on “APS Printer Installer – 64 Bit.”
  3. On the left column, click on Heights (not Shriver or Stratford).
  4. On the middle column, click all the printers you would like installed. You can install more than one printer.
  5. To deselect a printer, just click it again.
  6. Click Install.
  7. When completed, the “APS Printer Installer” window will disappear. Do not close it.
  8. Verify the printer was installed in your “Devices and Printers.”
